VRA Publishing was formed in 2005 to provide quality current literature to the reading public.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, VRA Publishing is committed to promoting traditional values, a sense of commonality in experience and aspirations, and a respect for the history that has brought us all, as Americans, to the shining “…city upon a hill...” that is the American dream.

Author Rick Ainsworth’s second novel, Murder on Pratas Reef, was released in 2007 and is based on an actual event, the 1965 grounding of a US Navy vessel on a reef in the South China Sea.  This is an exciting work combining historical facts and fiction; an engaging murder mystery against a backdrop of the Herculean effort to free the ship from its predicament.  This excellent work garnered Finalist designations in the 2008 Indie Excellence Book Awards, both in the Historical Fiction and Action/Adventure categories

Upcoming publications include the Deavers trilogy, The San Antonio Murders,  a gripping crime story continuing the adventures of R.J. Davis and firmly establishing William Deavers as an investigator extraordinaire.  This leads us to the next compelling story, The Horace Mann Killings, a true murder mystery, and The Ghost Murders, the exciting finale to the Deavers three-volume series.  Mr. Ainsworth has also completed a gripping political thriller, The American Dictator.  Watch these pages for word on when these books will be available!
